FAU Alumna Katja Wadlinger ist Mitgründerin von AMPERIAL, einem Startup am Energie Campus Nürnberg. Sie entwickelt Fensterfolien, die Gebäude vor Sonnenhitze schützen und damit – abhängig von Lage, Sonneneinstrahlung, Gebäudetyp und Klima – bis zu 25 % Prozent Energie einsparen. An unserer FAU hat Katja Wadlinger Nanotechnologie und Advanced Materials and Processes studiert.

FAU alumna Katja Wadlinger is a co-founder of AMPERIAL, a startup Energie Campus Nürnberg. She develops window films that protect buildings from solar heat and, depending on the location, solar exposure, building type, and climate, can save up to 25% of its energy consumption. At FAU, Katja Wadlinger studied Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials and Processes.

In the interview, she takes us into the lab, provides insights into her research, and shares how FAU helped her during the founding of her company and continues to support AMPERIAL even now.
