Visualization of a lattice Boltzmann based simulation of floating non-spherical particles in a free surface flow. Three rigid bodies of density 0.75, 0.5, and 0.25 and cuboid shape are released in a basin filled half-way with liquid. The ideal floating positions are given with 0.75, 0.5 and 0.25, respectively, of the body volume immersed and at an angle of heel of 26.57°, 45° and 26.57° from the upright position. The video shows the convergence towards the ideal floating positions.
